Christmas Morning was

Full of fun and laughter in our house this Christmas. It started Christmas Eve. My mom and dad started a tradition with me and my brothers as kids with getting to open one present Christmas Eve and it always being our Christmas PJs. So caring on this tradition. On Christmas Eve we all opened our Christmas PJs. This year I made everyone on our house matching ones.

We also of course made Santa cookies:

It is always fun to watch my kids open presents any time but even more so on Christmas morning. The to funniest thing about Christmas morning this year was: Jayna thought that Santa had forgot her.  She handed out the Santa gifts to Alec and Hayliegh and couldn't seem to find hers. She was getting a new bike and it was sitting right by the tree but wasn't seeing it. We had to have tell her to look around the tree maybe it was hiding. She started crawling around the tree and almost ran into the bike. She looked up and said "A new bike!!!" it was so funny.

After present time we had a nice hot breakfest of french toast, potatoes, bacon, and eggs. and then about 12 my WHOLE family came over for the day. It is always nice to spend the day with my family. I love see my mom and my dad!

Alec's trip to PIR for Winter Wonderland.....

Was cold but a lot of fun. Alec and I went to PIR with the Griggs Family last night for something special to do with him, while the rest of our family was in Utah. He loved looking at all the lights once we got there. On the way there we watched The new Veggie Tales Christmas Movie, St Nicholas. I bought last Saturday when we were shopping and Alec has already seen it a handle full of times. But it is cute.

The kids ready to go in.... We took the carseats and put them in the very back and folded down the middle seat so they could have to freedom to see all the lights.

Here are a few of Alec's favorites:

Alec turn's 4

For the 2nd event of the season....

We went to STORY BOOK LAND. The city of Albany has puts on a free event for the first 3 weeks of December every year called Storybook Land. Its a walk through event that is inside one of the buildings at the fairgrounds.  As you walk through you everything is decorated for Christmas and there are different storybook displays set up.

It was COLD but it was fun. At the very end is Santa himself.

We went with my mom and step-dad, and Chris' brother's family.
