Christmas Tree Hunt

Saturday Morning we got up and went on our hunt for the perfect Christmas Tree. Now living here in Oregon, there is never a shortage of places to choose to get your tree. You can go to a lot and get one, you can go to a farm, or you can go to the woods. We choose to go to a farm, that way we get to use their saw and cardboard when needed. So the last 2 years we have gone to Sunnyview Farms. Its not to far from the house and they are priced very well.

and let the hunt begin:

During the hunt Jayna found some ladybugs hiding on one of the trees:

 And we found our tree!

trimming it a little before we take it home:

"Hayliegh you want to touch it?"..."ummm yea"
 "here is some for you"
 "Look mom!"

Emmah turns 9

On the 28th we celebrated my niece Emmah's 9th Birthday. I was honored to make her cake for her. She loves Hello Kitty. This is how it turned out! ( It may look like a lot of cake, but it was all gone)

As per tradtion since I was a kid, we started the day with the Macy Thanksgiving Day Parade. Hayliegh danced to every song sang and played during the 3hrs.

Then over to my sister we went:

While most of the women worked on dinner, you found everyone one else either playing pool, or watching football or the kids just playing:
