A fun weekend

This last weekend we went down to Jeremy and Jenn's house and did a pre-birthday party for Jenn. We went to OSU's lambing barns. We went last year and the kids really liked it. This year we didn't see any babies born, but their were some that had just been born.

After that we went to the park to play and to feed the ducks.....

So My life..

These are thanks to my mom. She brought them over this week to me....
the sum up my life (and maybe some of yours).

A couple weeks ago I was asked to come and meet with the Bishopric and that they had something to talk to me about. So I said ok, knowing in the back of my head that it should have something to do with my callings.
During this meeting they asked me about my current callings (which at the time were: R.S.C.M. (enrichment) and Assistant to the Librarian). They told me that they would love me to consider a calling in SCOUTS!
At first I wasn't very sure of it. In fact I was very unsure if I wanted to take the calling and if I wanted to be taken off of Enrichment after being on there for 2.5years.
After talking to a couple great friends, they had some great advice. "If the only this holding you up from taking the calling is you don't want to let the other one go then you need to take it. Everyone needs to grow and expand. It must be your time to do so."
SO after much prayer and after working out all the details of finding a sitter for the kids. I went to Chris and told him that I felt as if I really needed to take this calling on. And I called and told them yes.
Last Thursday was my last offical night on the as a R.S.C.M.. It was a great night. And then Friday night was my first offical night as the Bears Den Leader. We had the Blue and Gold Dinner. It was also a good night. They gave all the Leader Flowers as a Thank You. What a great way to start of my calling.
Today is my first offical Den Meeting. I'm excited and nervous at the same time. But I know that with God beside me and with the support of great friends and family it should all be great.

Valentnies Day

Is always fun when you have kids.... Yea it can be tricky but it can still be a lot of fun.
This year Chris and I decided since today was a Sunday that we would go out last night. So we got my big brother Eric to come and be at the house with the kids while the slept.
We decided since we had never been to Newport Bay, we would give it a try. We both liked the the food, and that it was quite (prob because it was 9pm lol).
With haveing kids we try to include them in every holiday as much as possible. Even though Jayna get to do more with it since she goes to school, we still want to do something with ALL of them.
This year was no acepttion to the rule. This year was daddy's turn to pick things out. So he got each of them a card, some candy, and a small stuffed animal.
He got me a card from him and one from the kids, a dozen red roses and white carnations, and some chocolate. I got him a card and the some homer simpson pjs with hearts and homer's head with kisses on it.
We had a nice family dinner followed by cupcakes that he bought last night, just for tonight. Apparently Hayliegh really likes the frosting and the white cake, since she ate every bite of it.

I would say that today was a good day! What do you think?
