The Jurgens Family

Monday was Hayliegh's 1year check up. She now weighs 19lbs and 0.5oz and is 27.5inches. She is deffantly and average size girl. Unlike her big brother who is in the 99% she is in the 25%.  Its hard to get use to haveing a smaller kids after having one that is so big... I guess we will have to wait on turning her car seat around for a little bit longer.

Again... When we switched Alec over from formula to milk he had a rough time. He ended up having to be on special milk.  Now its Hayliegh's turn to switch.
We starting the switch on Sunday Night, that was a really rough night. The next morning she had her one year check up and the dr told me to try doing 3/4 formula and 1/4 milk. Well lets just another rough night. SO Tuesday I put her back on just formula and she slept through the night with no problems. SO Wednesday I tried giving her Alec's milk. And she slept just fine. She has now been on it for going on 3 days now and seems to be what her body wants. I guess I know what I will be buying now!

Next mission.. to see if Alec can come off his milk and on to regular milk.... watch for updates.....

So last Thursday when I took Hayliegh in to get her 1year pics taken (which will be up when the come back) my mom took Alec over to the hair salon and got his hair cut for me. We were a little worried, since up until the end of summer he has always just shaved head. And since then Aunt Shirley has cut his hair once in which he cried and threw a fit the whole time. But we had nothing to worry about. He was a very big boy and sat for them perfectly. Here is the results:

I wanted to give Hayliegh her first PB&J sandwich yesterday, but Chris wanted her shirt to stay clean. So today was the day! She seems to like it.

Wow! Where has the year gone?! I can hardly believe that my baby girl is already 1! To celebrate her 1st birthday we had a big family party. She gets the joy of sharing her birthday with her Uncle Shawn as well, which works well. One big party and we are done.

That I was suppose to do almost 10 years ago. This year on Mother's Day marks the 10 year anniversary of when my grandma died. For her service we made a scrapbook. I was given it and ask to make copies for everyone. Well it is now almost 10 years later and between college, life, and kids, let me just say it has been done. Well now I made my book with my new Your Story machine and have made copies of all the pages and the pictures in it. And I have now put it all together. Let me know what you think.
