Sorry to everyone

I am saying sorry to everyone that follows our family blog that I haven't kept it up lately. I will be playing catch up here over the next few days.  So please stay tuned.......

Home from a misson

Our Cousin Emily Judd has been serving on a mission in Las Vegas for the last 18months. She was scheduled to come home on the 27th of December. Well on Christmas she called her mom and told everyone that she was getting sent home early as a Christmas Present from her mission president. It was a wonderful surprise! So on the 26th of December we went up to the Portland area for her homecoming. It was a wonderful day and everyone was so glad to share in the experience!

Christmas 2010 (afternoon)

Now this year we got to have a special Guest for Christmas. Grandma Jurgens flew in Christmas Eve and got to spend Christmas with us. This is the 1st time since we have become a family that she has come to Oregon for Christmas. We have gone there, but this is the 1st time she has came here. And we were all so happy that she got to come.
In the afternoon of Christmas Day she came over and we got to open more presents, and she played with the kids. and then we had Christmas dinner. WE had a blast and a very wonderful day!

Christmas 2010 (morning)

We got up and did our gifts and Santa gifts with the kids.....

Christmas Eve

This year My family did Christmas on Christmas Eve...
It was differnent for us but it was a great way to spend the day. We got together around 12 and visited and then did presents and then had dinner. It was great!

 Jayna's presents
 Hayliegh's Presents
 Alec's Presents

Then of course before bed we decorated cookies for Santa

and then put on our Matching Chirstmas PJS!

The Real Santa

Since Alec was born I have been taking our kids down town to the Salem Center to see Santa. For the last 9 years the same man has played Santa!!!! I love being able to see the same man with my kids year after year. I have missed 2years in the last 6... not to bad I think.... 2008 because we went to the Lancaster Mall, and then 2009 because of the weather. But we made up for it this year.
The kids and I went and got their hair cuts done, and were riding the bus downtown. They asked if we could go see Santa, Alec even promised to sit on his lap if we did...so I agreed to it....
They did wonderful...Even Hayliegh did. They sat and talked to him and got their picture taken. the didn't even move or cry or anything... it was great!

Reunited at last...

After almost 2 years for losing contact with each other (long story) Jayna and her brother Ryder and Sister Jayden got to see each other! It was great! Ryder and Jayden are twins that turned 5 and are only 2months older the Alec. It was like old times and was great to see them all together again!
